On 18 Dec my site was hacked. On 7 Jan it is still hacked and I have been told that I have to pay an outside company for site recovery but I could get my site wiped at some future time.

Sorry I can't give them ZERO starts
They sold me a product. Sent me an invoice. I paid it. Then they contacted me to tell me they couldn't honor the price they quoted and told me I needed to pay more if I wanted to product. No thanks. If that's the service I'd get now what comes next???

The support is terrible !!!
My MySQL database is already offline for weeks.
Support tickes be deleted, closed, or get no answer (wait for weeks).
In Live Support I keep getting the same answer which is an admin will take care of it, and I soon get a mail ... I wait and wait!

Downtime 90%, Customer Service 10%, Worst Ever!
I also Left Arvixe because of their regular downtime and their weak support. Even I cancelled my Auto-Renewal but they still charged my Credit Card on renewal date. Every time I request to answer my ticket they says our Billing Dept. is not available.

Worst hosting provider
I had the unfortunate opportunity to work with Arvixe. Be warned, DO NOT use them. They are the worst company ever and I hope they go completely out of business. We are pulling off all of our sites and products!

Best customer service I've ever encountered
I'm new to the whole website stuff, so I ask Arvixe support a LOT of questions. They promptly respond and always fix whatever problem I've created:) They've given me an excellent first experience and I'm extremely happy! Thanks Arvixe!

Domain Transfer part Deux
As a follow-up on my saga with Arvixe since 12/03. I finally got them to send me the auth codes to transfer my domains. But, they still refuse to help me change password on billing in order to close the account!

Worst Hosting Ever
These guys were one of the best when I joined them in 2011. Now they are the worst ever. I have not been able to access my e-mail for over 2 weeks over the past 3 months because of changes they made. Tech support is worthless. Tickets opened for months

A good low-cost web host
A good simple web host for a lower cost than many. Good developer features such as SSH access and many PHP extensions installed/available. Haven't had to use Customer Service yet, but so far Arvixe is not too bad, especially for a low-traffic web site.
