Good server host, BUT...
When hosting my server through these guys, I was a first-time owner. Their control panel and website was easy to navigate and provided what they advertised for, albeit in the priciest way possible: A minecraft server. Nothing exceptional happened with them, minimal lag -- but I gave Apex such a harsh rating because of their customer "support" team.

I'll be the first to admit it - I'm not the most tech savvy out there. I don't expect a lot of people would be if they ask for support through Apex , right? Doesn't matter what kind of question you ask them, they always would reply in a condescending manner, treating you like an idiot. Way to embrace the stereotype that I.T "specialists" are rude and stuck-up.

Deleted Account Completely - 1000s of Hours Gone!
Perma-deleted after following instructions
Apex sent me a bill and said I was overdue.
I paid that bill.
The monthly payment came out the next day.
I contact Apex to say I've been overcharged, what do I do?
Contact Paypal they said.
I contacted Paypal.
They deleted my account permanently, trashed thousands and thousands of hours of work, didn't keep any sort of backup and such and then basically told me "oh well."

Use literally any other provider. ANY other provider.

Impressed With The Level of Support I Received This Morning
I contacted support this morning on two different occasions and was helped by the same agent Kyle E. I am 100% in shock with the level of support I received from him. First conversation was pertaining to the block view distance being set to 10. Was wondering was there a way to up my view distance. He explained quickly why It isn't a good idea. Second reason was the differences between memory space on the servers. He provided me with a link too a video that answered everything quickly. Second time reaching out to support was having an issue with op commands. I wanted to give a user of mine the ability to whitelist players without having access to cheats. He directed me to a plugin that could accomplish what I needed done. Now with me being a complete bot when it comes to coding and servers. He was able to provide me with the perfect info on how I could achieve this. 11/10 support for Kyle. I appreciate you brotha!

Extremely Shady
I asked Apex a few questions about hosting a Bedrock Server.
I told them I did not see Bedrock in the list. They told me not to worry about it, and I can change it after purchase.

They did not inform me that I could not use a dedicated IP. After purchasing the server I cannot use it.

The support chat was incredibly rude to me. They then disconnected me without resolving my issue or asking me. When I reopened the chat for some reason the agent was able to ban me.

I was not rude to the agent. Even though they were with me.

I have been using Apex Minecraft Hosting for 3 months now, and I am incredibly satisfied with everything on their system. From the serverside techs to the billing and control panel, everything is easy, clean and self-explanatory. As a Server Owner without much plugin or server experience, Apex Server Hosting certainly helped me gain the knowledge I need to run a successful server. Earlier today I wanted a map download file so that my players could play with in singleplayer. I was helped by Kyle E and might I say that he was phenomenal. He was smart, professional and showed me that Apex really is an excellent service and company. He performed excellent skills in knowledge, expertise and professionalism, possibly the best customer service I have dealt with in a long time. I hope this acts as some sort of recognition for Kyle E. as he was truly incredible!
