Greedy, unreliable and incompetent
You would think when a server fails due to the hosting service said service would offer a refund, not an account credit.
Why would anyone stay with an unreliable service who offer no support?
My best advice is steer as far away as possible from Apex Hosting, unless you're happy to lose over a year and a half of work AND any money paid during the times of disruption.
It's so extremely predatory to use “account credits” as a failsafe for horrid hardware and poor software keeping practices.
Please, please, please, if you're reading this and deciding where to go, pick somewhere else.
