I was attracted to Arvixe because of the ability to set up ODBC connections to my databases. However, the sever speed is what soured me on Arvixe. Page load time is terrible half of the time. I may have to stick to 1and1 for that reason alone.

Was attracted to arvixe due to the full trust level. however i regret moving there and am contemplating leaving them. their support is terrible chatting does not work as you are kept waiting forever, ticket are not answered in time.

Company Response: Our chat system had an issue on one day which has been resolved. Please note that for urgent support we keep our phone lines open 24/7 and you can get to talk to someone live within the US. This is the quickest way to get your issues resolved.

I suspect number of Arvixe reviews here and other places are generated by Arvixe itself. Uptime is NOT even close to 99.9%. Customer service is 24/7, but technical level is low. Web servers are bounced several time a day, emails are lost!

Company Response: Please note that we are here and we can resolve all of your issues. We simply need you to send the bounces to our support department for review. Or phone lines have 0-10 seconds hold time 24/7 so you can get to talk to someone right away at any time.

Arvixe has been wonderful. After fighting with other hosting companies, this is one that I have no complaints with. In fact, their services have been so good, I have just started using them for a new business! They are very personable and helpful.

Support through their Chat was poor, answers were short and curt
A lot of downtime around Christmas Day 2010
Server speed slow & shared with porn sites

I have a reseller account. The server does not have their advertised 99.9% up-time. I use an external monitoring system and find that my hosted domains are down many times during the day.
