Several times a year my domain and/or email is unresponsive. HostForWeb migrated my domain without notifying me, which caused a loss of several days of email. Some software does not work as expected. Human service has been great.

HostForWeb is fantastic, and I say so because they have great, fast customer service, have a terrific control panel with a full set of options, delivery speed and uptime is good, and their cost is really, really reasonable. I have two sites there now.

We have used Hostforweb for a while now and have had nothing but a pleasant experience with them. I use them for two sites I have.Further the response I have received from them when I had technical questions is unmatched. They are knowledgeable and quick!

I used to love these guys. I've been with them for over a year. But they've become increasingly unreliable over time. I'm now chatting with support once a day just to get my email. And when I ask why I don't get a straight answer. Can't recommend them any

Company Response: Erin, I confirm that there were some issues with that server last month, they are resolved now ofcourse. Anyway the uptime is still over 99.5% we guarantee. Alertra report: JAV2 2 hrs, 44 mins, 22 secs 99.621% You are a client with us since March 6, 2003 and there were no problems with that server for almost 2 years, it does not look fair.

PROBLEMS: Difficult to get shell access. Email problems-would stop working without warning-very bad. Tech support is abysmal. They respond quickly-with gibberish. Lots of downtime. Every day get errors from remote cron jobs. Ignore questions. Stay away.

Yes due security reason we require to contact support for shell access, is that difficulty you mean? I have not found any tickets for mail problems. Response time is good. Downtime?
