far too difficult to cancel services
Photo ID a requirement to cancel if you don't know the last for 4 digits of your credit card used to sign up. Another ridiculous verification method - cite the subject line of a one year old email from them. Representative on the phone was getting angry and insisted strongly on Photo ID. Been with Webserve for 4 years - this is bullshit. Never heard from them - all there emails were in my junk folder. Huge waste of time on the phone, on their chat service, emailing them. They wanted $226 for a very basic two year hosting package. They are a disaster once you choose to leave.

A poor service for a novice at least
On signing up, they suggested I needed SiteLocker to keep anything on the site safe from hackers. That never worked. Now they want to autorenew it, and their 1-800 number does not work properly and I can't cancel. Can't logon either.

webserve.ca - billing is main concern
The customer is at the mercy of the billing software and only gets 2 weeks at most to pay, after their invoice arrives. If cust is away or PC fails, loss of domain or hosting package is possible. This system needs revamping.

Stay away from this company
Absolutely no real communication with this company. You tell them you do not want the service and no one listens they have no customer service. Stay away from this company and if you have delt with them complain to the Ministry, police about them.

Overall a good host for the price
Good host now and much different customer service than a few years ago. They provide what they claim and at a really good price. Have had issues with cPanel setup and domains lately, but was acknowledged right away and fixed via chat/email within a week

Service is down most of the time and there is customer support. I am stuck for another year any new customers please consider other host.

I am guaranteed that at least once a year, usually more, that my email will be down or my web site. Support is always the same:
You spend the first N Days convincing them there is a problem, and many more days getting them to fix it.

I don't use them for hosting, just for domain registration. I got 10 years of .info for $40, so why not.

I can't reach customer service. Logon doesn't work. Reset password doesn't work. Email not returned. Phone never answered. This is ridiculous.
